I bought plane tickets not long ago.
That was fun. (If I was 9 again, I would follow up this statement with ".....NOT!")
I'm going to London with one of my best friends, Matt. We planned to fly to and from London together. Good plan, right? We were both using advantage miles, which is financially awesome, but very stressful since, when using miles, you only have a limited number of flights that you can purchase. We picked the flight we wanted, which included a SIX HOUR LAYOVER in Boston. Six hours. Gross. However, for our flight home, coach tickets simply didn't exist using advantage miles. Which means we were going to fly home in business class. Hallelujah! We began dreaming of what we could do with our six hours in Boston, since neither of us have ever been before. Then something bad happened. To make a long story short, at the moment Matt has a plane ticket for a completely different flight than me. Huzzah. Six hours alone in Boston sounds just dandy.
I've never flown by myself. Let alone to Europe. This will be an awfully big adventure.
