Hurry up, September

I'm getting excited.

Last week I saw the movie Eat, Pray, Love. Usually, upon viewing a movie like this one, filled with travel to exotic and far off lands, I would feel wistful, just wishing that I could do the same. This time things were different. During one section of the movie, Julia Roberts' character spends four months in Rome. Eating. That's it. Ah, to have such a life! If anything could intensify my desire to be in Europe right this very second, this movie did it. I had to keep reminding myself that I am actually going to go to Rome! At least for a few days. My dream is slowly, but surely, becoming a reality.

Tonight, I read a bit in the travel books that I own about England and Western Europe. I figured out where my dorm and school are located in reference to the Underground. I even figured out the tube route I'll need to take to get to classes. 3 points for me.

Also, let's take a minute to talk about this picture...

If you were to walk out the front door of my dorm building, this is what you would see.
Am I the only one who just giggles at the sight of this? Probably.

I hope that's a coffee shop on the corner.
